In medical emergencies, seconds matter.

SnapTrainer™ builds confidence to intervene with emergency intranasal medications, such as:

  • epinephrine (neffy®) for anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions
  • naloxone (NARCAN®/KLOXXADO®) or nalmefene (OPVEE®) for opioid overdose
  • diazepam (VALTOCO®) and midazolam (NAYZILAM®) for cluster seizures

Practice makes Prepared.

Naloxone is more accessible than ever, but is your community prepared to intervene?

SnapTrainer™ is a reusable simulator for training that equips the community, caregivers, and patients with the confidence to act.

Avoid dangerous mixups.

New lifesaving nasal spray medications are now available, including epinephrine for anaphylaxis and benzodiazepines for cluster seizures.

Training is critical for preparation, but legacy trainers create a new hazard: mix-ups at the worst possible time.

SnapTrainer is pictured with three actual medications and four manufacturer-provided training devices. Could you tell the difference in an emergency?

Top: SnapTrainer
Middle: Trainer for NARCAN®; actual KLOXXADO®; trainer for neffy®; actual KLOXXADO® (back side)
Bottom: Trainer for NAYZILAM®; actual NARCAN®; trainer for VALTOCO®

Feels similar. Looks different.

A distinctive appearance reduces the risk of mix-ups in emergencies.

SnapTrainer™ comes standard with a smooth simulated nozzle. For extra clarity for take-home practice or distributed harm-reduction kits, a finned nozzle is also available.

Patent-pending simulation mechanism.

SnapTrainer™ replicates the break-away resistance found in actual nasal spray medication delivery devices with a unique patent-pending mechanism not found in any other products.

With a design verified for one thousand cycles, SnapTrainer™ is easy to reset and practice again. The mechanism even becomes smoother with use and doesn't jam up with repeated use.

  • SnapTrainer has been a fantastic addition to our naloxone trainings. Its realistic snap mechanism gives participants an authentic feel for administering nasal spraythrough a plunger, which makes a real difference in building confidence to act in an emergency. The fact that it's reusable means we can have everyone practice repeatedly, right in the training session. We highly recommend this tool to any organization running overdose response education.

Use Cases

Nasal spray epinephrine (neffy®) training for schools and camps

With the 2024 FDA approval of intranasal epinephrine for anaphylaxis, school and camp staff will need training for administration. SnapTrainer is a reusable training device that replicates the feel of neffy® with a distinctive appearance that reduces the chance of mixups.

Opioid overdose response training

Help learners build confidence during and after class with individual simulators. Spaced learning enhances consolidation and comfort to intervene in an emergency.

Opioid overdose harm reduction kits

Harm reduction kits are often distributed without a formal in-person training.

The kits usually contain single-use naloxone spray and links to online trainings. SnapTrainer fills the training gap as a reusable device to use with online training. Its distinctive appearance and labeling distinguish it from the actual medication, reducing the chance of mixups.

SnapTrainer has been included in:

- EMS leave-behind kits for opioid overdose calls that decline transport
- Naloxone kits distributed by city departments of public health

Community education: a fidget with a purpose

The distinctive shape and click make SnapTrainer a natural conversation starter for wider impact. Great for attracting attention at community health outreaches, front desks, and school nurse offices. SnapTrainer is available with customizable display stands.
